Commendation

Posted on July 17, 2018

On May 30, 2018, Deputy Christopher Hill and Deputy Alexander Morgan spotted smoke coming from the area of 1300 Howe Street. Upon arrival, both deputies observed first responders from Engine Company 5 removing a subject from the inside of the burning residence. They quickly began to render assistance to an unresponsive male. Deputy Hill and Deputy Morgan immediately started CPR on the subject until Rescue 1 arrived on scene and relieved them from CPR. The subject was revived, and transported to AUMC for further medical treatment. Due to the quick actions of Deputy Christopher Hill and Deputy Alexander Morgan, they were able to help save the life of the unresponsive citizen.Deputy Christopher Hill is an asset to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office and the citizens of Augusta Richmond County.
